Informal Bonding marks Teachers’ Day

The news caption became the guiding light for Delhi Public School, M R Nagar, Mathura when it celebrated Teachers’ day on 5th September 2017. The school paid tribute to philosopher-author Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India's second president and an advocate of the importance of education.  The School Principal, Dr G P Pandey lit the lamp of learning and offered floral tributes to the great visionary. A series of cultural programmes marked the special day giving respite to the teachers making it a fun day for them.
The School’s Principal expressed his satisfaction on the execution of the day’s proceedings and reiterated his appeal of becoming responsible citizens of the nation and continue with the warm tradition of the Guru Shishya parampara by which teachers impart their knowledge to students and empower them. Later during the day, a meeting was called in the conference room. Dignitaries from Mathura Refinery, Shri A B Kush, DGM A & W, Shri P K Sahay, Sr Manager, A & W and Mrs Poornima Kakkar, Manager A & W graced the occasion.
